𝗛𝗜𝗩 𝟏 & 𝟐 & 𝗦𝘆𝗽𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘀 𝗥𝗮𝗽𝗶𝗱 𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗧𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗞𝗶𝘁
This dual rapid test kit provides a quick and convenient way to screen for both HIV 1 & 2 and Syphilis (Treponema pallidum) infections at home. Results are available within 10-30 minutes.
𝗧𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:
*   𝗦𝘆𝗽𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘀 𝗧𝗲𝘀𝘁: Detects Treponemal antibodies (IgG and IgM) indicating a current or past syphilis infection.
*   𝗛𝗜𝗩 𝟏 & 𝟐 𝗧𝗲𝘀𝘁: Detects antibodies to HIV-1 and/or HIV-2, indicating a possible infection.
The Synthgene® HIV 1 & 2 & Syphilis Test is a lateral flow chromatographic immunoassay for the qualitative detection of antibodies in human whole blood. Only two drops of human whole blood (fingertip prick or venous blood) (approximately 50ul) are required to perform each test. Finger prick sampling makes the process minimally invasive and easy to administer. Results are observed within 10 minutes and are effective for reading within 30 minutes. The test procedure requires no special training.
𝗥𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:
*   𝗣𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲: Red bands appear in both the detection area (T) and the control area (C) for the respective test. This indicates the presence of antibodies for that infection.
*   𝗡𝗲𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲: A red band appears "only" in the control area (C) for the respective test. No band appears in the detection area (T). This indicates that antibodies for that infection were not detected in the sample.
*   𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗱: No red band appears in the control area (C) for a test, regardless of the detection area (T). The result for that test is invalid, and retesting is recommended.
𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝘂𝗴𝗴𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀:
1.  This product is only for in vitro qualitative diagnosis. Use within the validity period.
2.  Read the instruction manual carefully before use and perform the test strictly according to the kit instructions.
3.  The product is for one-time use. Do not use if the aluminum foil bag is damaged. Treat all samples and used products as potentially infectious. Follow local regulations for safe disposal of infectious waste. Handle with caution.
4.  If test kits were stored refrigerated, let them reach room temperature before opening and use. Using them cold may affect results.
5.  Incorrect results may occur due to unknown drug interference or operational errors. Retest if results are questionable.
